Containers arrive at Crown Bay, Antarctica

After weeks in rough seas, The Coldest Journey team have finally reached what will be Base Camp at Crown Bay.

Passing by huge icebergs and a colony of penguins there was no mistaking their new home in Antarctica.

The team are now off loading all the equipment onto the ice, and with help fom Eric Reynolds (shown below), Founder of Urban Space Management (CONTAINER CITY) Ltd, the containers that we donated will be put onto the sledges that will help pull them behind the expedition, where they will be used as living quarters and a science laboratory
