In pictures: Camden Market scheme works in progress

Container City™ has been commissioned to design and build a new shipping container scheme for Buck Street (Camden Market), located next to Camden Town Underground station. The project will offer 12,000 sq ft of space over three levels, housing up to 80 independent traders

The scheme is led by Eric Reynolds, who was one of the original pioneers of Camden Market in the 1970s.

“Reusable shipping containers provide a quirky, cost effective and sustainable approach to building design and are a growing trend when looking at developing sites across London. Our designs for Buck Street are both an extension and evolution of the market site currently and our work will showcase a new focal point for visitors to Camden.” Eric Reynolds, Container City™, Urban Space Management
